Assistant Inspector General for Management
Aracely Núñez-Mattocks serves as the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) for Management for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Office of Inspector General (OIG), responsible for the execution of management and administrative services in support of OIG worldwide staff and regional offices. This includes management of OIG Human Capital, Information Technology, Financial Resources and Policy Planning.
Prior to entering the Senior Executive Service, Mrs. Núñez-Mattocks served in various management level positions that have ideally positioned her to serve in senior executive level positions including her current position as Assistant Inspector General for Management, Office of the Inspector General with US Agency for International Development (USAID) and previously as Chief of Staff for the Office of the Inspector General with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Mrs. Núñez-Mattocks began her government career some 27 years ago while stationed in Germany as a Budget Analyst, Budget Officer, and Chief of the Financial Management Division with the Department of the Army. In this capacity, she led, Appropriated and Nonappropriated programming and budgeting efforts to fund programs and services provided to service members and their families. Since that time, she has served in senior management level positions at several Federal and Department of Defense Agencies: Director, Organizational Development, Department of the Navy; Director, Human and Administration Division, Department of Energy, Office of Science; Director of the Washington Finance Center with the Environmental Protection Agency.
Aracely Núñez-Mattocks has a BBA in Accounting and a MS in Human Resources Management. She is also a Certified Business Process Re-engineering Practitioner and Certified Master Facilitator.
