Duties:

As a technical expert in digital evidence data acquisition, data protection and digital forensic analysis for the Operations Support Division, Office of Inspector General, Office of Investigations, you will support activities designed to prevent and detect fraud, waste and abuse within USAID, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), the Inter-American Foundation (IAF), the African Development Foundation (ADF), and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC).

You will also:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert, Digital Forensic Examiner and advisor on matters pertaining to digital forensic processes including the preservation, collection, processing and handling of electronic media
  • Conduct digital forensic examinations of electronic media for evidence or information related to investigations or litigation
  • Safeguard, preserve and handle all electronic media in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies
  • Provide technical advice on the search, seizure, preservation and collection of electronic media
  • Collaborate with domestic and international investigative agencies on technical matters related to digital forensics and electronic media preservation and collection
  • Prepare reports of digital forensic processes to include laboratory activities and investigative findings
