Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency

The Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency is an independent entity established within the Executive Branch of the U.S. Federal Government to address integrity, economy, and effectiveness issues that transcend individual Government agencies and aid in the establishment of a professional, well-trained, and highly skilled workforce in the offices of inspectors general.

We participate in and contribute to CIGIE and several of its committees and work groups. We also provide audits and semiannual reports to Oversight.gov, the council’s online repository of reports across all offices of inspector general.
