As an Investigative Support Specialist for the Operations Support Division, Office of Inspector General, Office of Investigations, you will support activities designed to prevent and detect fraud, waste and abuse within USAID, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), the Inter-American Foundation (IAF), the African Development Foundation (ADF), and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC).

You will also:

  • Direct IG/I-wide events and activities related to inventory and equipment management
  • Perform a wide range of administrative and equipment inventory support functions
  • Conduct quasi-criminal investigative support functions in support of OIG Investigators/Agents activities within IG/I
  • Support the procurement, maintenance and administration of equipment property which include government vehicles and firearms.
  • Serve as the primary evidence custodian responsible for the maintenance and oversight of evidence obtained in conjunction with criminal, civil, and administrative investigations
  • Maintain evidence vault in accordance with established standards, federal laws, and IG/I policies
  • Manage IG/I’s file plan according to the classification level, and maintaining the disposition schedule
  • Administer a control program for accountable property
  • Provide guidance on equipment supply and inventory management functions
  • Develop long-range equipment/supply support plans
  • Coordinate authorized vehicle repairs and routine and regular vehicle maintenance/inspections
  • Serve as a firearms instructor, with responsibility to maintain weapons and equipment (ammunition, holsters, etc.)
  • Act as liaison with the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), scheduling monthly range dates and coordinating the required quarterly instruction and qualifying training with firearms
