The Bureau of Fiscal Services, Department of the Treasury, contracted with the independent certified public accounting firm of Brown & Company, CPAs and Management Consultants PLLC (Brown) to conduct the audit. The audit objectives were to: (1) express an opinion on whether USADF’s financial statements as of September 30, 2019, and 2018, were presented fairly, in all material respects; (2) evaluate internal control; and (3) determine whether USADF complied with applicable laws and regulations. Brown concluded that USADF’s financial statements for the fiscal years ending September 30, 2019, and 2018, are presented fairly, in all material respects, in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles. The audit firm did not identify any material weaknesses or significant deficiencies in USADF’s internal control over financial reporting. In addition, the audit firm found no instances of noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations.
