The USAID Office of Inspector General, Africa Regional Office, is initiating an evaluation of the Agency’s democracy, stabilization, and governance portfolio in Somalia. The evaluation objectives are to determine the extent to which (1) the programs in USAID/Somalia’s democracy, stabilization, and governance portfolio are achieving their intended results, (2) spending within USAID/Somalia’s democracy, stabilization, and governance portfolio complied with Federal cost principles, and (3) USAID/Somalia performed its monitoring responsibilities for the democracy, stabilization, and governance portfolio.
