Duties:
As an Information Technology Specialist (APPSW), you will:
- Provide expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues.
- Perform all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirements generation, design, code, verification, test, and maintenance.
- Respond to, and coordinate with, internal and external customers, stakeholders, and the public to support and troubleshoot applications.
- Provide technical guidance for both government and contractor personnel providing analysis on existing, new, and emerging automation technologies for both short and long term impact upon 010 customers and connecting automated systems.
- Monitor the performance of software systems and adds enhancements, modifications and related features as requested by program managers and end users.
- Maintain technical oversight of all ongoing proposed changes in the assigned area of responsibility.
