Review of USAID’s Payment Integrity Information Act of 2019 for Fiscal Year 2025

Public Law 116-117, Payment Integrity Information Act of 2019 (PIIA), codified at 31 U.S.C. § 3353(a)(1)(B), requires the Office of Inspector General to issue a report on USAID’s compliance with PIIA per the information published in the Agency’s Annual Financial Report (AFR). Because USAID did not issue an AFR in fiscal year 2025, the Agency was not in compliance, and we were unable to conduct the mandatory review. Given USAID’s current operating status, we are not making any recommendations at this time.
