Duties:
As a Supervisory Budget Analyst, you will:
- Plan, perform, advise on work in all phases of the budgetary process, e.g., budget formulation and justification, presentation and enactment, and execution.
- Interpret and advise senior leadership on program plans, resource constraints, budget proposals, operating costs, and execution.
- Display a mastery of the concepts, principles, practices, laws and regulations pertaining to the Federal budget process as necessary to supervise budget accounting and financial management functions.
- Carry out a full range of supervisory responsibilities which includes assessing employee performance; disciplinary actions, training and development of staff, and workforce management.
- Isolate and define unknown conditions, resolve critical problems, and develop new processes to address complex budget issues.
- Work collaboratively with FRD Director on fiscal policy, and guidance issues to propose, develop, and advance appropriate legislative, regulatory, and fiscal policy initiatives.
- Coordinate operational activities of the Division with other organizations in OIG and GSA.
- Design and execute a plan to attract, cultivate and retain a high-performing, diverse workforce that is responsive to dynamic changes in missions and functions of the organization.
