What to report:

  • Complaints or information from an employee of USAID, MCC, USADF, or IAF concerning the possible existence of an activity constituting a violation of law, rules, or regulations or mismanagement, gross waste of funds, abuse of authority or a substantial and specific danger to the public health and safety.

  • Complaints from ay private individual concerning the possible existence of fraud, waste, abuse, or corruption in programming funded by USAID, MCC, USADF, or IAF.

Berman, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and Ann Calvaresi Barr, Inspector General for the U.S. Agency for International Development (“USAID”), announced today the filing and settlement of a civil fraud complaint against NORWEGIAN PEOPLE’S AID (“NPA”), a non-profit, non-governmental organization headquartered in Norway, that receives funding from USAID.

Acting Chief of Staff

Ashley Obando is the Acting Chief of Staff for USAID OIG. In this role, she leads the Office of the Chief of Staff comprised of four divisions: (1) Strategic Communications; (2) Organizational Development; (3) Process Improvement; and (4) Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility (DEIA). These offices work collaboratively to support the USAID OIG mission and workforce by strategically communicating OIG’s work, providing training and development support to staff, advancing DEIA, and driving a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.
