The USAID Office of Inspector General (OIG) is initiating a review of USAID’s provision of humanitarian assistance to Gaza. Our objective is to assess USAID’s plans and controls over the distribution of humanitarian assistance to Gaza through the maritime corridor. Given the Department of Defense’s (DOD) role in establishing and maintaining the corridor, we are closely coordinating our work with the DOD OIG, which is opening its own review.
