Acting Assistant Inspector General for Investigations
Sean M. Bottary serves as the Acting Assistant Inspector General for Investigations (AIG/I) with the OIG in Washington, DC. As head of investigations, Sean is responsible for leading an extensive global portfolio of complex criminal, civil, and administrative cases designed to inform foreign policy objectives and safeguard the integrity of United States foreign assistance programming.
Performing the Duties of the Inspector General
Van Nguyen performs the duties of the Inspector General. Previously, Ms. Nguyen served as the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) for the Asia Region, based in Bangkok, Thailand. In this role, she oversaw audits, evaluations, and inspections of U.S. foreign assistance programs across the region to promote accountability and effectiveness.
