Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and Ann Calvaresi Barr, Inspector General for the U.S. Agency for International Development (“USAID”), announced today the filing and settlement of a civil fraud complaint against NORWEGIAN PEOPLE’S AID (“NPA”), a non-profit, non-governmental organization headquartered in Norway, that receives funding from USAID.
Gabriele Tonsil is the Acting Assistant Inspector General for Audits, Inspections, and Evaluations. In this role, she oversees teams conducting audits, inspections, and evaluations from OIG’s headquarters in Washington, DC, and eight regional offices around the world.
Jason Donnelly currently serves as the Acting Assistant Inspector General for Investigations in the Office of Inspector General at the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Toayoa Aldridge serves as the Acting Deputy Inspector General, performing the duties of the Inspector General. Prior to his current role, Ms. Aldridge served as the Assistant Inspector General for Audit, directing all audits, inspections, evaluations, and policy for the division. She assumed her role in September 2022.
