OIG Oversight: Economic Growth and Trade
To promote economic growth in developing countries, USAID, MCC, and OPIC work to eliminate obstacles to trade and stimulate investment. Projects focus on partnerships with the private sector, policy reform, and assistance to sectors and production chains linking small businesses and providing important sources of employment. Our work assesses the agencies’ ability to identify and mitigate risk in these projects and their effectiveness at furthering development.
